Characteristics

Independent rural accommodation with capacity for 4 or 5 people.
The ground floor consists of entrance, sitting room with fireplace and television, equipped kitchen and dining room. On the first floor, there is a room with double bed and balcony-arcade, a twin-bedded room and a bathroom to share.
Outside you find the garden, which is next to the Romanesque church of the little village, and place to park the car. Very quiet area.

 

The sights

• Vic: city well known for its fairs and weekly market. In addition, you can visit the Cathedral, the “Episcopal” Museum, the “Art de la Pell” Museum, the Major Square and the Old Town.
• Rupit: typical Catalan village with a suspension bridge that cross the stream.
• Tavertet: Sau Reservoir viewpoint. Wonderful views of the cliffs.
• Romanesque Monastery of Sant Pere de Casserres.
• Pantà de Sau: sailing activities.
• Vall de Sau-Collsacabra: touristic zone of natural interest. (www.saucollsacabra.diba.es)

How to get it

• By car: C-25 Road (Eix Transversal, green signs) Exit 183 Direction Roda de Ter. At 700 metres you turn right direction Tavèrnoles (BV-5213) and you find the little village at 4 Km.
• By train: RENFE ? Barcelona-Puigcerdà Line. Stop in Vic. Taxi Service in the same station.
• By bus: there are bus routes from Barcelona, Girona or Lleida to Vic. Taxi Service in the same station.
• By plane: Girona Airport is at 30 Minutes.
